After a long weekend looking through the viewfinder, I like to think it was productive. Here is a series of images from the shoot. Please keep in mind that these are pretty much right out of the camera, and they all need a lot of PP work. But I know the rest of the year if going to be busy with holiday stuff and I won't get to these for some time, but wanted to post a few like I said I would.

I haven't yet taken a shot of my set up like I also said I would. I have an entire house now that needs to be cleaned up due to the family being out of town and me here destroying it. As I spend the day cleaning up I will try and get a shot of the setup before I break it down.

The new water dispensing system I think was a success. There was a lot of frustration like there always is with doing these types of shots. I think after two days, I took over 20,000 shots, broke my remote shutter release, spilled an entire 8x11 casserole dish full of water on me, took some water shrapnel to the eye which I still feel, and the cat was good enough to jump in a pan of water and run away splashing as she went. I didn't realize this type of photography was full contact.

Joseph, no wonder the house looks a mess!!! These are so great, and I bet you didn't even have the time to eat, let alone clean up the house.

It was worth all the "crap" you went through to get all of these. Absolutely beautiful series of shots.

I was trying to pic my favourite from the first set, then saw there were two sets to follow. No. 1 of the first set still stands out for me.

I also "wasted" (but loved it) my whole weekend on photography, but it was fun. I posted a Water Dragon for edit, which some of you experts may have some fun with.

Wow.....just amazing Joseph. I love all of them but in particular the first one and the very last one - superb clarity. ..... Now clean up the house before your wife gets home!!!!

Thanks Kaye and Denise very kindly. Glad to know the work is appreciated.

UPDATE on the house cause I know you all care and are worried about it to. ;) hehe. Dishes-done, vacuum upstairs-done, vacuum steps-done, Bed made-done, Daughters toys-done, bathroom cleaned-done, feed cats-done, beat cats-done hehe.
Still to do: vacuum downstairs, finish tearing photo stuff down, laundry, and get tree and lights out of the junk closet.

Outstanding as always Joseph.
For each picture you posted, how many frames did you take in repetition?

Thanks Doc Steve and John. I completely forgot to post the setup shots Steve. I will try and get them up soon. As for how many shots: I was at it for the better part of two days trying many different things. Since my setup isn't what I would call very technical, and more closer to primitive, there is a lot of trial and error. I think over that weekend I took between 6-10,000 shots.

Hi Joseph, now if you are still awake after so much housework I would just like to add my bit.
Every single shot hits the mark; you’re right on the money.
The second batch second from the left, I really like this one because you seem to have some
natural light coming in from the left rear, which is highlighting the ripples and the fan at the top
of the splash very well.
Top marks, top of the class, king of the hill, pass go and collect $200, in other words EXCELLENT work Joseph.

P.S. When you pass go and collect $200, hire a cleaner to do the housework while you sculpt some more :D
