When submitting photos, do we ONLY submit photos without any touchup in lightroom or photoshop? What about size of photos? Is cropping and resizing allowed?
Thought maybe others might have similar concerns.
thanks,
Gil

It's always been my understanding, and practice, that edits are allowed on assignments. With digital photography, editing becomes/is part of the overall photography workflow these days. And as good as cameras are, they still don't get things like white balance right a lot of the time. The only way to fix it is to edit it. It would be nice if everything we shot was exactly how we saw it at the time, but it doesn't work like that most often.
Some of the best photographers are also the best with Photoshop.

Thanks, Joseph. I was concerned that the EXIF data would show that the photo would have been altered and after all we're learning to compose images and how to setup the camera. BOY, do I have a lot to learn. Sure is fun, though!

Hi Gil
Agree with all of Joseph's Comments as for the size there is a maximum which is on the Assignment Page.
Have Fun:)

Hi Gil,
I had a similar concern when I was in the early stages of the course. I decided to edit one photo and I wasn't penalized for it, but my tutor did mention that he could not see the EXIF data. You can always send your tutor a private message to see how they feel about it before you submit your assignment.
