I’ve recently completed the course but have always hovered on the edge of the forum. Have decided to jump in with these shots of water droplets that caught my eye, they sparkled so much. Any comments and crits welcome. Thanks for looking.

Shirley, these are beautiful shots. Am I imagining things, or are these droplets frozen... otherwise they would just fall off or run down the leaf!!
Love the reflections in the large droplet.
As well as learning lots from the course, you will also continue to learn from the forums, so post away.

Thanks to everyone for your kind comments. Kaye the drops were not frozen. The leaves were new and tiny, just coming through the ground, so the drops so small that I didn’t actually see them until looking at the photos on the computer. I think my timing was lucky and they were just about to fall off. I shall certainly be continuing with the forums as they are great & I learn something new all the time.

Beautiful shots, shirlm2. Did you use a macro lens? And what camera. (When I come across shots that I admire I'm always curious about the equiptment used, just in case I win the lottery some day).

Hi Pat
I have a Canon 450D which I find a brilliant camera and yes I used the macro lens.
