With so many amazing places to see throughout the world, most Australians would agree there is no place like home. To celebrate the beauty of home, Nikon Australia has launched a quest for the best amateur photos that encapsulate the feeling and essence of your town.
Australians are invited to indulge in their passion for pictures and share the best photographs of their home town through Nikon my Picturetown (www.mypicturetown.com), Nikon’s free online digital photo storage and sharing service. Every entrant will be in the running to win a Nikon D90 worth $1,700*.
Whether it’s a picture of a beautiful sunset, kids playing in the backyard, the town’s tourist attraction or the local footy team at play, Nikon encourages you to share photos that best capture the spirit of your home town.
To enter, people just need to register for Nikon my Picturetown (www.mypicturetown.com.au/picturebank/entry/simpleregistration.do), upload a photo that best captures the feeling of their town and send the photo album link to picturemytown@nikon.com.au.
The competition is free to enter and open to amateur photographers from across Australia. Offer ends on 12 April 2010.
