No, DX lens are design for Digital cameras. They produce a smaller image circle then the diagonal width of a 35 mm film.

Nikon makes a fisheye lens for their 35mm and DX digital cameras .. it is the AF Fisheye-NIKKOR 16mm f/2.8D. It costs around $770.

The answer is:1) it will mount and meter2) you will get significant vignetting (darkening) along the corners/edges, because the lens provides a much smaller image circle than a lens designed for the 35mm film size.3) If you can live with the smaller image circle, it will work.
