View Full Version : Wanted to share some excitement.

I was asked by the college of St.Olaf here in MN to shoot and design the CD cover of the College group "The Limestones" that will be unleashing one hell of an album next month.

Last Saturday I had the evening to shoot the group and Sunday to work through the images. I wanted my friends here to have first look.

The glass of course represents the lime/stones. :)

Is this the final product?
Did you know someone at the college, or did they just contact you from their knowledge of your brilliant photography?

This is ,indeed, some excitement!! Congratulations Joseph! Well deserved recognition! Great image.....did you submit this for consideration or did they come to you because they already knew you and your skills as photographer? I'm curious too if you can share some of how you made this photo happen....it is so brilliant!

Thank you all for the great comments. This was a fun project to work on. The final version that went to print was the same one I posted without the band members in the background. I was a little disappointed in that because I really liked the members on the image. But with the "Limestones" and some other text on the front, it still works.
