From my school's first game of the season. My first time shooting sports in sunlight; I had only done basketball, and all indoors. So it was quite refreshing not to be limited by crappy artificial lighting. :D I forgot to take the ISO down from the 1600 I was used to shooting at, though, so while I could use a really fast shutter speed, some of the pictures came out with a noticeable bit of noise. :(
Unfortunately the seats were a bit further from the field than I would have liked; even with my 55-200mm zoomed out to its longest focal length I had to heavily crop some of the shots later. Still wasn't satisfied with some of them! But what's a kid to do, eh?

MasterPpv,
As long as you are learning, that is what counts in photography and life. Whenever you
realize your own mistakes and can also correct them in the future that is fantastic. What I try to do is become one with the camera. What my hope is, someday I will realize each and every aspect of each scenario from years of expierence and situations.
(quote from Jerryph) I will posess the knowledge to imeediately change settings, lenses, add or subtract light as it were second nature.
My equipment in my bag will only be the tools in which I accomplish this. Untill then I will keep practicing, practicing,
practicing to obtain this goal.
You have some really nice shots here. I really like the expression on the pitchers face on No. 1.
IMHO

I like the runner in your last shot - learning is what it is all about here I am finding out - and for me that is good

Yeah, I definitely learned a lot that day! I hope I can use that knowledge next week when I hope to shoot another game :) Thank you very much for your feedback!

Thank you for the compliment! That was my last shot of the game, and by then I had gotten used to the situation, so I think that probably helped quite a bit. Live and learn! :) Aaaargh, now I have the urge to listen to that song! :D
