Cool, that looks nice and clear. I haven't played with the 'el cheapo' Macro lens I bought off ebay. I will have to try it out now!

I bought a set of 4 lenses: +1, +2, +4 and the Macro lens for something like $25... yeah, yeah, yeah.. I know, "How good can they be?" They work for ME and I'm content (for now). I'm still playing and learning. But, it's fun anyways.

I've just brought a macro addition to fit my cokin filter holder. I havn't tried it yet though as it has gone off to Santa so I'll have to wait until Christmas. (My wife has wrapped it up)

Has anyone else used a Macro addition to the cokin filter set? What were the results like.

Gjtoth, The coin looks stunning. If I am not mistaken, has it also picked some dust or something up on the coin itself? I'm off to ebay to have a search and see what I can find :-)

A little dust, perhaps. More than likely little nicks and and scratches from other coins in my pocket. I was just playing around with the lens and needed a quick subject.

Let me know how you make out on finding something. I believe I still have the seller of my lens set somewhere. Interested?

Yes Please. I have had a quick look but there are so many options.
I'd like to see the type of set you brought.

By the way, I was not meaning it in a derogatory way about the dust. I meant that the lens was that good that it had picked it up on the coin.

Gee, Andy... I must be going blind! I totally blew by your request for the place were I got those lenses. I'm really sorry.

Here's the place:

I'll forgive you for passing me by, after all, you have other things on your mind at the moment, like that shiny new package that should be arriving today;)
