Great shots, Shirley! I like the composition in both. I like the vertical composition because it draws my eyes right to what looks be a ferris wheel. I love how the trees come together in #2 to form a "V" shape frame. Very nicely done.

Great shots Shirley. I really like the first one, great composition. It's funny because I took a very similar shot when I went to England in January. I didn't have my 'photo' head on that day and just took a quick snap. In my photo the trees are bare. Thanks for posting as you brought back a nice memory of a day trip to London!

Thank you everyone for your comments and input, all much appreciated. The first one in very much a common shot of the Eye but being early, 8am, I was pleased to be able to capture the symmetry without the crowds.
