Treasury Casino Brisbane

Had some time to spare while my daughter was performing at the Stefan hair awards at Southbank on Sunday, so thought i would take a walk around Southbank and grab a few shots.
Last time the Casino was in Pink, so i thought i would add another colour to my collection.
Also Snapped the latest William Jolly Bridge Light show.

Sandy night shots aren't as hard as it seems.

My first attempt at the night shooting a few months ago was terrible. I was mainly interested in getting a good Casino shot, but all the best ones had shocking lens flare, supposedly due to my UV filter. So i went back a couple of weeks later and took some more shots and got one that i was happy with.

My only tip is put the camera into manual and experiment with different settings, review at home and note the one(s) you liked ready for next time. Hardest part is getting the camera level on the tripod in the dark LOL :)

Awesome night shots, Michael. I am a big fan of night photography and enjoy seeing them whenever I can. Both are real good but the first one really caught my attention.

Awesome! I love the star effect on the lights in the first one, and the range of colors in the second is really nice! Excellent! :)
