Only a few weeks till Christmas. Ho, ho, ho! Another perfect excuse for us - photographers to reward ourselves with a new gear. Sure there's plenty of stuff you'd like Santa to bring this year!

What's on your list?

Wishing I could sell the remainder of my stuff on eBay so I can take the PP course!
Macro light ring.
Kodak Z812.

I've received my Christmas gift a little early - about a month or so ago. Santa brought me a new Canon Rebel XTi (actually it was UPS:)). I would like to receive a camera bag or even a new zoom lens. (Don't think this will happen!)

gjtoth, feel free to list your stuff for sale here on forum if it's photography related in "Photography gear - new and used (http://www.proudphotography.com/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=22)" section.

Unfortunately, it's not. I sure wish it was!

I have had some filters from santa :-)

I would like a new camera bag/rucksack too but I will have to wait and see.

just purchased the equipment that was on my wish list, image staberliser lens, a few filters and a new camera bag, now I just have to work out who is going to pay for them.

LOL. Nice one.
Is the Image Staberliser lens a VR or something like that?
If so, I would be interested to hear what you think of it compared to a normal lens. Of course, this would have to be after santa has delivered it Christmas day:D

the image staberlizer lens I purchased was a canon 18-55, not a VR lens, it is one of canon's cheaper I.S. lenses. Looks like I am paying for this one since I started using is yesterday, I can certainly tell the difference with my handheld shots, they are no longer blurred, well worth the few hundred dollars spent.

Ah right, this one then....

Looks nice. I've read some of the review and you should have some nice results with that one. I like the bit where is says "The inclusion of automatic panning detection makes it easier for photographers to track wildlife and other moving subjects"

Sounds like this could be beneficial.
