What's your choice & why?
I bought my second/bigger Lowepro bag couple of years ago as I could no longer fit my new lenses in the old bag.. I know nothing about the bags at all, I was quite happy with my first Lowepro bag, I liked it and it had lifetime warranty - whatever that is. Now it seems I'm growing out of the second bag too.. Any ideas what the "good camera bags" are?

From what I've been able to ascertain from the web, Lowepro is an excellent (if price is any indicator) bag. I'm just wondering anyone has opinions on CaseLogic or Targus or Samsonite.

Targus have always been good laptop bags but not sure about camera bags. I am having the same problem as you now though mask, as my camera bag is not big enough for my needs. I was going to look at a rucksack type bag but havn't got around to it yet.

I have gone for a lowepro slingshot 100. I only have the camera and kit lens, but there is enough room for 2 other lens (when I can afford them!), so is perfect for me. It seems to have enough padding and it is comfortable when wearing it. It also allows you to 'sling' it around to get the camera out without having to take the bag off. There are bigger bags in the Slingshot range available should you have more kit. There is definetly a slingshot 200 and i think there is a 400, but don't quote me on it!

I actually just got a LowePro 200 this week and I love it. Plenty of room for all my stuff, well padded, comfortable to wear and very accessible. Should have shopped more for a better than retail price but when I want something I just get it.

It's always worth shopping around as you can always find a bargin somewhere. I have put a post up else where with pics of my rucksack that I brought, it would be nice if other people can add to that by doing a little review of the piece of equipment they have brought so other people who are looking for a new camera bag can have a look at that and see what we all brought. Just a though.
