Thanks everyone for kind comments, this was in fact one of my final 6 for Last Assignment.
Kaye, distance was not far from the sideline of the field. Shot stats ; Lens, Pentax DA50-200mm WR, Focal length 115mm, Shutter Priority, 1/800sec, ISO 200, fStop 4.5 .
This one was the best of the images, (many rubbish), first time I tried a sports capture.
