Street lights

[Snappers]

Following a trip to blackpool lights, we were walking back to our car when I came across this is the side street. I thought it looked beautiful. I did not have my tripod with me (Naughty I know but with two kids running around, I needed all the spare hands I could get!) so I took it with a ridgid body.
Hope you like it.
I've done a little touch up in Photoshop to remove a taxi:) My photoshop skills are not the best.

Hi Snappers, night photography needs longer shutter speeds than just 1/30s or you end up with underexposed photos. If you used a small aperture and a tripod, you could even get a nice starburst-like effect on the street lights.

Yeh, to be honest, This shot was rushed. We were on our way back to the car and my sisters parking ticket was up in a few mins, so I did not have time to hang around. Plus like I said, I did not have a tripod with me otherwise this shot could have been sooooo much better.

May be next time.
