It's more artful but not necessarily art. depends on the way the subject is presented. Composition, lighting. form vs substance etc...

Erotica is just porn in black in white.

I think it is too, something about a black and white portrait can make a normal picture seem so much more artsy.

There is a fine line between what is art and what is pornography. Unfortunately, too many people consider any nude work to be pornographicGenerally speaking if a photograph either depicts a sexual act or appeals only to the prurient interests of the viewer it is considered pornography not art.

I think that if it is done right, all nude photography is art.

That all depends on who you ask, and how tastefully it is done.

It all depends on the contents of the picture.

This question is difficult to answer. Nude photography is a very touchy subject with most people. I think that whether or not it is qualified as being pornography would depend on how someone would chose to look at it. If you view the photos with the purpose of being sexually aroused, then I would say that these photos could be considered pornography. However, if one choses to view the photos in order to appreciate the human body, well then I would say its art. There are also more things to consider. Such as poses and overal attitude of the photos. Show them in an art setting, then its art, show them in a setting that involves porn, then its porn. Theres a very fine line between the two, its up to the individual to decide. I think Murillo and Goya would agree.

Depending on how it is set up, it can be beautiful. Not all photos, nude or not come out as good in black and white. Art is in the eye of the beholder, but vulgar is vulgar. If you set it up with style and class then you cannot go wrong.

as long as it goes with well art. if the person clearly is not posing like for an art photograph they might just be gettin naked for playboy or MSPACE...
