Hi Elaine and thank you so much for your very kind comments...do I sell them...No.
I had six variations of this shot and printed them at A3, had them mounted and framed
and I put them in a recent charity auction for cancer research, one business woman bought
all six as a set, she asked to have them hand signed...my reply was that will cost you extra...
which she was happy to pay for...so that was good fun and for a worthy cause.
Thanks again Elaine
Hi Sandra and thank you...as I mentioned above anyone of them would have been a deserved winner.
Thanks Sandra

Hi Shirley and thank you very much for your kind comments.
The woman was very generous with her bidding, but then that’s what you do when it’s for a good cause.
Hi Denise and thank you for taking time out to comment I appreciate that very much.
A worthy winner! ...I don’t see it that way Denise.

Congratulations, Mark on a superb photo and a very deserving win. I am also glad to hear of the charitable donation. It makes it even more impressive, in my opinion. As usual, well done, sir.

Hi Eddie and thank you for your kind and thoughtful words…all were excellent entries
and it was a tight race and a bit of a photo finish (no pun intended).
And yes if it helped do something for a charity then all the better.

Mark....I knew the moment you entered this image that it was going to be the winner....it is a superb example of minimalistic photography. I was really glad to see so many entries for this theme. One of my favorite photography subjects! Congratulation on the win and for being such a wonderful photographer to donate your fine art to such a good cause!

Hi Randy and thank you very much, lots of great shots to pick from.

Hi Eatonite and thank you very much
I don't have a chance with my entries but I will keep trying.
Do not say that Eatonite and never think like that, if you think that…that’s the way it will stay.
You can do anything…you can enter the competition and kick the rear end of anybody…and if you think that…you can do it.
What’s that saying…”you’ve got to be in it to win it”, and you will.
Mark
Hey Mary, and thank you so much for your very kind words, I know how much you love minimalist.
I actually had you pegged as winning, with one of my favourite photos. So many great entries as there is every month
I am not a photographer, as I have mentioned before, I just love the journey it takes me on.
to Donate your fine art to such a good cause! ..... Tell me one member who wouldn’t do the same thing.

Hi Marianne and how are you, sorry for my late response to your post.
Thank you very much for your comments on this one.
The idea was to keep it very simple in appearance.
I sat the flower on some glossy vinyl and a diffuser at the back of the flower with the sun coming in from a window behind the diffuser and flower.
The diffuser cuts out the harshness of the bright light and softens it up. It is a very simple method but an effective one to get a nice clean and simple look.
I have the others I took posted in the thread simple white way back on page 7 of nature and animals if you haven’t already seen them.
Thanks again Marianne
Mark
Also thank you Jomanros...greatly appreciated.
Thanks

Hi Marianne and thank you for your kind comments, I am glad you liked the others.
This was not complicated and I am sure you could achieve the same results.
Sometimes a photo can look more complex than it actually is.
Give it a go and if you need some assistance I will be happy to help.
Thanks Marianne
