This photo was taken when I was on a walking tour through the streets of Paris a couple of years ago, I have loved this photo from the moment I saw it on my pc, not really sure why though, might have something to do with the night I spent in Paris.

Again, another nice shot. I'm afraid I'm not a lover of Paris as I had bad memories there but this shot is lovely. The way the sun rays are spreading through the street is great. I think this image also works in B&W. You may have read my other postings on B&W images, but I like this one.:)

This was taken a few years ago, back then I really had no idea about taken photos, now that I have a better understanding on photography I probably would not be able to take the same shot if you know what I mean.

Nice! I like it as well. Puts the eye to work and creates interest.

I know what you mean about not being able to take the same shot. Every once-in-a-while you "stumble" into a good shot where everything "works" and you don't know why or how you did what you did. It just works. Now, after some tutoring, you know why and how. It's just a matter of finding the right "stuff" to shoot.

Do you think then sometimes that too much knowledge can take away some creativity of you know what I mean.

Perhaps then you thought, my, that looks a nice picture, I'll take a photo of that, You take the shot, and with a little luck, it turns out good.

But now, with the knowledge, you look at the shot, and perhaps think a little too much about the machanics so you miss the opportunity.

When you know a little more, you tend to think too much sometimes and then miss a good shot!

I suppose, it all boils down to the old addage "Pratice makes perfect!"

Hmmmm Better get practicing.:)

I love the rays are coming down throughout the frame and i can't help but wonder where all the people are going.
