Hi Mick,
I thought the flash may have overexposed some parts of the flower, but no.
I love it - it has a beautiful orange/golden glow. Also nice sharpness on the stamen.

Excellent shot Mick. I love the colours. The black background really sets off the stamen. I think I will have to drop a few hints - for photography purposes of course!!
