If I have the delivery figured right, some of the first shots will probably be of some stuff in the Akron-Canton area. heh I think it should arrive the Thursday or Friday before we head up that way. :)

Nice one Garry. Christmas come early heh? Hope you have a nice time in Akron-Canton area and have plenty of nice photo ops so you can show us what it is capable of. If it is anything like those photos you showed before with the LNB, I'll be very impressed. And if I remember they were freehand!

OMG. Thats all I ever own. I have a 05 LR3 and a 02 Freelander. Talk about fun in the snow. That is the ONLY suv I will buy. The freelander is more for playing the LR3 is more luxury. How do you like the Disco? Hey sign up for one of the off roading trips with the landrover dealer. They are great.

I am loving my disco now. We tow a caravan and for ages I have said I would get a disco but they were always too expensive, then we had an accident whilst towing and I thought right that's it, I'm having the Disco for the stability.
Anyway, to cut a long story short, I brought the disco, had a few problems, it went into the garage for repair and ended up needing a new engine! So I had the cost of the disco plus the cost of the engine ontop!:(:( I was not a happy bunny and I was beginning to think I had made a big mistake, but now it is running smooth on LPG and I am loving it.
The mother in law doesnt like it though as it is very high to get in.
Like I say, I cant wait to get some snow on the road to see what it is like.
I havn't been off road in it mainly because of all the problems I've had with it, I didnt want to cause any more.
Maybe, soon, I'll go for the off road experience.:D

Some of the discos and freelanders had problems because they used aluminum and it heated up to fast and in return ruined the engine. I have not had any problems by minor ones so far. But to me its worth it. I love them, and I have never been able to get stuck in the snow. I HAVE TRIED AND TRIED!!! Here is my LR3. I need to wash it but with the ice storms I figurd I better wait! ( I wasnt trying to get a good photo.)

Very Nice Susan, Would you believe, I do not have any photos of mine yet. But I will endevor to take some very soon and then post them up here.
The problem mine had was that it broke the cam bearing at the back of the engine which was going to be about £2300 to repair, with no guarantee that it wouldnt go again, or I could have a new engine which was a better build engine for £2400. Not much of a decision really.
Still hurt the wallet though.

Yeah. Better off to get the new engine. They are monsters for repair bills that is for sure. My autolock cable broke on the back of my LR3 door and it was 700.00 to fix it. They scratched my door all up inside too and I was NOT happy at all. They were taking a screwdriver and popping off the panel and in turn made deep deep scratches. The LR3 saved our life one night. If it wasnt for the automatic air stabilizer we would all be dead right now. There was a tree that fell acrossed the road right infront of us (in the dark of night) and we had to swerve to go around it. We started to tip but then the air went into the one side of the vehicle and put it back on all four wheels. After that I do not want another car.

That must of been a scary experience. I have had many cars in my time but I must admit this is one of my favorites. It is only a disco 2 but still, they are built very well and meant to take some server conditions.
I'm not sure if I have the air stabilizer on mine but it sure sounds like a good thing to have.

Does it go down when you get out of it? You can hear the air let out and then the car lowers. Also, when you hook a trailer up to it..it fills up with air and lifts the car up.
