Woooohoooooooooooo! Good for you! I'm pretty sure you won't regret it. A friend of mine who is a professional photographer says even if you take a course that only teaches rudimentary stuff, it reinforces what you "thought" you knew and reminds you of stuff you SHOULD be doing but slipped back into stupid stuff. That'll be me doing the slipping! heh

3 and 4... sorta. I've completed 3 but still need to spend a bit more time on the application part. Panning is something new to me and right now the weather is sooooo crappy. So, I'm reading 4 and playing 3.

Yeah I know what you mean. It just started to snow very bad here. That just makes Christmas shopping even worse. Not only do you have the people talking on cell phones while checking out at the register, now we have people that DO NOT know how to drive in the snow. UGH!!! Oh sorry, I didn't mean to get off the topic - yeah panning is one of the harder things for me to do. When I do it of cars, I am afraid there is going to be someone having an affair and chase me down for my camera! Just kidding.

For instance, I shot this news helicopter with my old camera. The thing is: it doesn't show a whole lot of action other than the rotors.

Heheheh... how 'bout going to a busy intersection and shooting the cars sliding into one another? Be like watching a giant floor show!

With my luck the cars would slide into me and it would be a macro shot with me in it!!

Hi Folks , looks like your dealing with a right dose of snow, over here in Ireland were coping with heavy frost with a forecast of milder but mixed weather over the Christmas. I agree it will be a time to just relax. I have completed lessons 1 & 2 and looking forward to next lessons and assignments.
Merry Christmas all

Oh I am loving it. Its great! Can't wait to do lesson 4 now. (I really want to get to the portrait lesson) I wanna find out that you DONT have to own a $30,000 Hasselblad to get great portraits. Hahah just kidding! (I actually had a man tell me in order to get great portraits you have to get a hasselblad.) Although they are very nice cameras....the price is NOT very nice. Unless maybe you shoot for the actors and you would make that in one day!

I'm with you on this one, Jon. I'm making sure I get every aspect of a lesson right before moving on. Kind of like squeezing the last drop out of an orange. heheh
