I received a set of training videos for my camera and I just found out some cool things. This camera can take photos without the lense on. It can be hooked up to telescopes and microscopes, and also turn in to a pinhole camera. Hmmm that is different!

Pretty cool stuff! I've been soooo tempted to try pinhole stuff but, I've got enough on my plate right now. And, the new camera will be here next week sooooo, I'll have to learn THAT too.
I'd sure like to see some shots with a telescope/microscope hooked up. That's GOT to be sensational!
Happy birthday!

Thats what I was thinking. I have never heard of this before, but it does it. For the pinhole, you just get an extra body cap and put a hole in it with aluminum foil inside with a needle hole in the foil. I've never done any pin hole photography.

One of the magazines covered Pinhole photography a while ago and it seemed very easy to turn your camera into a pinhole camera but I didnt try it at the time, I didn't really like the effect that it achieved, not my cup of tea, but connecting your camera to a telescope, WOW!!!! That sounds like great fun. Just think of the photo's you could achieve with that. What camera is it that you have?
Hope you have a great day Monday.

Thanks everyone. Snappers I have a Sony A700. If you go to youtube there is a little video about it also. It is from elitevideo. It says TIPS on it. I am not sure how you do any of this stuff, and I don't know if I would ever use it either. I just want to get better at taking photos at this point.

Yep another battery for my camera, and a SONY camera bag (bigger than my last one), some videos for my camera, some roses, and one I have not opened yet. We are having some people over tonight for dinner. Should be fun.

I will try to take a photo of them tomorrow. They are nice. Several different colors. I love the WHITE ONES! They smell soooo good. I am not the best photographer of flowers that is for sure. I will still try though. Practice makes perfect huh? (oh and by the way that other gift.....photo paper....lots and lots of photo paper)

Nice one Susan, Yeh practice does make perfect, at least that's what I keep telling myself anyway!
Photo paper eh, I have just ordered my new printer which is mainly for printing CD's but it is a photo printer so I will be getting some more photo paper to see what the results are like with that. I would have loved one of the A3 photo printers but couldnt afford one of them, perhaps in the future.

I know what you mean. The reason why I even have such a expensive printers is because a relative that is a business owner wanted me to take photos for the company, and they bought me the printer. So if he wouldn't have bought it I wouldn't have it either.
