I was just wondering, we dont seem to have may pictures put into the critique section for us all to look at. I was thinking, (I know garry before you say, it is dangerous) How about a monthly competition where by a category is chosen. People who so wish, enter a photo into the competition and then a poll is created to vote on which picture we think is the best. The one who has the most votes at the end of the poll wins for that month.

Now I hear you asking, well, what would the prize be.....
No not a new car Garry, sorry, but you get the great privilege to pick what the category for the next months competition will be.:D

So basically, no prize, just for fun, but also a chance for us all to get out there with our cameras and perhaps learn a little along the way.

So, What do people think?
Good idea, bad idea? Any other thoughts on the matter?

Sooooo... no Lamborghini, eh? hmmmmmmmmmmm This requires some serious contemplation. Ok.. Ferrari? Porsche? I'd settle for a TR-6 at this point!!

uh.... I'll pass on the photo but I'm game for the competition.... unless I lose. Then, I'll pout and whine and moan until I get a Lamborghini. Just like my ex-wife! :D

So when are we going to start this competition? Snappers you should be the first to choose since this was your idea! I am ready for the challenge.

How about January if it is OK with the Admin of the forum. It would need them to create the poll once the pics had been submitted and probably would be better if it had it's own section on the forum to keep it together.

So admin what do you think? Is this something we might be able to do? I think it would be fun. We could see all of the different ideas that each other have. (or maybe the same ideas)

Yes, I totally agree and it's something we have actually planned for you very soon. Currently trying to find the best and most convenient way to handle voting. We'll start monthly photo competitions in January and there will be prizes to be won as well.

Like the idea, of a fun competition. Sound very similar to one running on a UK based forum that was started by Fuji S5600 owners.
