I'm not into B/W photography (that could change during or after this course :) ) and I don't really know what to look for (that could change too). Cute kids, though.

I like your photo, the eyes are crisp and sharp (which apparently is important in potrait shots, I am learning something!!). Cute girls.

Welcome aboard. Its great to have you along. Everyone is very friendly here (including Gary, he's just a sheep in wolfs clothing really:D)

I am like gary though, I too am not much for B&W photography or at least I wasnt at the beginning of this course, but as I see more photos, I am beginning to see that in certain circumstances it works. Your picture is one of those circumstances I believe.

It is a beautiful picture. Is it actually two seperate pics joined together or was that the pose of the girls at the time.
If it was, I bet it took some doing to get them in that pose.

You know what they say about working with kids and animals and all that:D

Anyway, keep up the good work.

yes its two pics merged together.i can use photoshop but carnt take pics very well. hopfully after the course i wont need photoshop so much.
