I know a question not asked is the only stupid question right? Well, here it goes...maybe I am having an airhead moment or something. I am reading through lesson three again, and where it says "crop factor"...I understand that but where it says check your cameras documentation to find out what is your sensors size...I went through the whole manual and I don't know if I am missing it or what, but I can't find it at all. Any ideas?

It's not a stupid question, because I wouldn't mind knowing myself!

Thanks, unfortunately I cannot claim credit for it, I downloaded it from a random web site, but I quite liked it.

There is never the need to feel dumb. At times, we dont always fully understand what we read but some of us tend to fear asking the question and then live in ignorance, others of us however pluck up the courage to ask the question and then breath a sigh of releaf when we realise others did not know either but were afraid to ask.
I am on another forum where their motto is "There is no such thing as a stupid or daft question"

Yes I struggled with that as well.
Finally found out that my Canon EOS 20D - 1.6x crop factor as well. Now I don't feel that dumb after all.

Just as general info, Nikons are at 1.5 and Canon likes a 1.6 for a crop factor.
This is not "magnification", just field of view. If you print out your pics, becuase they have to be expanded to fill the paper, the pic looks "bigger" but there is no magnification done at the lens/camera level.
