Get the camera out, turn it on, fill the viewfinder, and start shootin'! Take a LOT of 'em and keep the ones ya like.

Have FUN with it.

Yeh, keep shooting and try to make your photos as un-intrusive as possible so they look nateral, get the parents to interact with the baby and keep it's attention, tell them to ignor the camera and I'm sure you're get some great shots.

take the photos from all different positions. Do not just sit in front of them and snap them. Move around. Get up above them and look down. Move ALL around...sometimes different angles look better than others.

I can't believe I am saying this (others on the forum will know what I mean as i have mentioned my opinion of b&W before) but perhaps try also different colours in your photos, like B&W shots too. Sometimes they work, sometimes they dont.

Take photos of hands, feet, etc and make a collage with all of the photos with the baby in the middle. Those turn out really cute.
