These are a few of the more artistic portraits I beginning to shoot. All of these images come from my Enchanted Forest set that I'm building. You'll also notice that there is very little eye contact with the camera. These were shoot that way on purpose, I wanted the imagery to have the feeling the subjects were involved in the scene and unaware that a camera was present. I hope you like them and they give some creative ideas for you. As always, CC is welcome.

Larry, these are absolutely beautiful portraits. The reflection in No. 3 is just perfect.
I just love your Enchanted Forest set. Are you going to build others as well? You must have lots of room.
I also love your idea of very little eye contact.

Again, great use of imagination. I think you are heading in the direction that fits nicely Larry.

My only criticize is that the 5th image reflection doesn't look real/convincing. Knee looks like it's coming out of the water.

Thank you Kaye.

The reflection in 3 is a natural reflection. There are 2 sheets of 2x4 mirrored Plexiglas used for the reflection. Sometimes I put ripples or distort to the reflection in PS. Here, I just thought still water would work the best.

These are actually test shots for the set so I can tweak etc. I'll be doing Fairy portraits next spring at our local volunteer fire depart and for a battered women's shelter to help the raise money and awareness.

Don't know if I will be building any other sets for a while. My studio is in our home. It's a finished basement 18'x28' but the ceiling is only 7' which is really limiting. But if there's a will there's a way and that is one of the things I love about photography. Finding a way to get it done. Plus, I'm running out of room storing photo gear. :)

Thanks Joseph. I do agree about number 5. I need to go back and mask that area again. Looks like I took too much off in that area. The reflection here is superimposed and done in PS. The one in 3 was a mirror reflection. Where the 2 mirrors came together really distorted the image on 5 so I went for making a reflection.

How's everything go by the way?
