how did you guys get the animated avatars to work? Everytime I try it says you cannot have animation. Andy you have animated sigs too! Please tell me how you did it

When I had my bug avatar, I just put uploaded it. No problem here. Might have something to do with size (kB)

When I uploaded mine, I got an error saying 'error in upload' or something to that effect, however when I looked on the forum it was there! I blame gremlins!

hahaha yeah ...its something. It will not let me ..it says you are not permitted to have animation or something to that effect

What is the file extension?, mine is a GIF file.

The only other thing I had to check was the file size, other than that I am not sure what else it could be, Sorry.

Uh huh! See? Drugs, sistaaaaaahhh hehehehe Better living through modern chemistry, I used to say. heheheh Still do but now the drugs are waaaaay different -- Tylenol, Metamucil, Aleve, Geritol....

Sorry, I just noticed this discussion.. Avatars must be under 80x80 pixels in size and animated .GIF files are supported. The error you were getting was probably because of the picture point size was larger than allowed.

Animated pictures in your signature are not supported.

Sorry, just seen this thread. Naughty me.

I've tried to get an animated avatar but could not get it to work either so I gave up! However, I now believe it may be because of the file size. I will try again after christmas, until then, santa is staying:)
