Mark, please tell me those birds weren't actually there and you added them in post production!!! That is just too perfect :) I love the painterly feel to this.

Beautiful work Mark....just love the touch you've put on this scene.
Mark, what a beautiful scene.
Copied from Lisa's comment: That is just too perfect I love the painterly feel to this.
I totally agree, but I tend to feel it may be one of your own paintings  :)

Beautiful Mark, picture perfect. Like Kaye I feel it could be one of your paintings.

Hi Lisa and thank you…the birds are the classic additions to landscape paintings such as we have here. But is it post or real.:)
Thanks Lisa
Mark
Hey Sandy and how are you, thank you for your comments…it’s all in the touch…:D
Thanks Sandy
Mark
Hi Kay I see you have been busy…thanks for your comments on this one.
So what have we got a photo of one of my paintings or a photo that has been dressed up to look like a painting? You know I love a bit of mystery….:p
Thanks Kaye
Mark
Hi Shirley and I hope you are well…now I thought you might have recognised this place. So painting, photo, photo painting…you tell me.
Thanks Shirley

I'm not sure if it is a photo or a photo of a painting! But I just find it a beautiful work of art!

Mark you have me intrigued about the setting. I think there is a gate house at the Ascot end of Virginia Water so this is my best guess.

You paint too???? Well that's just plain unfair, no one should be allowed that much talent :)

Well Mark, since this IS a photography website and a "photography critique" forum, I have to assume that it is in deed a... photo. :)
I really enjoy the 'feel' of this photo. The post processing makes it feel 'homie' and 'country' feel to a degree but without all the warm colors. So, it gives me a feel of country-style feel but with some sadness due to the dullness of the colors maybe?
It is beautifully artistic but it has 'lots to say' behind the scene. Like you said.. "I love a bit of mystery"... this photo and post processing show the "mystery" behind the artist to a degree - a small glimpse of who's behind the scene.
Beautifully done. I congratulate you.
Edited:
In looking back at it, it has the dullness but maybe not 'sadness' but it is devoid of vibrant colors so maybe a feeling of 'peace' and 'rest', maybe 'contentment'. Mixed feelings. Nicely done.
