Hi all,
I was just wondering if anyone had every used a Continuous Ink System and if so, what they thought of them?

I am tempted to get one of these but not sure how good it is.

This appears to be a good idea to me. It would depend on how well-constructed it is. I sure would hate to have one or more of those little lines pop and have ink spewing all over. I think you're right to check around first.

Check with some of their previous buyers, Andy. That *should* give you some indication as to how good it is. Normally, if someone has bought rubbish, they're going to warn folks about it. That's difficult to do on eBay because once you leave your feedback, that's it. If the item you buy dies prematurely, you can't go back and tell folks it's junk. I know, I've had folks email me asking about some things here and there. I am, in turn, totally unabashed in researching an item's worth. If it's junk, I want to know before I plunk down my dosh!

Indeed Gary, Good advice, This is the CIS system. There are cheaper ones available from hong kong etc, but they are not supposed to be as good.

I'll do some more research and let you know. I used to be a member on a sublimation forum so I'll have a check there as a lot of people who do sublimation printing use these systems.
