I finally got over my cold from being in the North Country and decided to get out and see if I could do something with panning (I'm on vacation -- YAAAAY!). Wouldn't ya know... it's chuckin' down rain! So much for THAT idea. From the looks of the radar, this is going to last aaaaaaaallll day.
Oh well. Guess I'll build a fire, make some cappuccino and kick back. :)

Sounds about right!
However, the image of the fire and cappuccino sounds great

Snappers you beat me to it. I was about to say make sure you get lots of shots of the fire, coffe and if you've got a tripod and timer why not a shot or two of yourself enjoying the fire and coffee?

Yeh Welcome aboard Melange77, great to have you with us.
You have a great point about Gary, having a pic of him enjoying his fire, however, I think it was a good idea that he didnt other wise I would be insanely Jealous.

You needn't be jealous, Andy. It's just a gas fireplace and my espresso machine is on the fritz :( I'm in the process of fixing it, though. There are just certain things that one NEEDS. Espresso is one of 'em! heheheh :)

Had a mineral build-up in the espresso machine. It's receiving the CLR treatment now. Should be good to go in a few hours. Luckily, the cafe at the church has excellent espresso. Whew! I was having withdrawal symptoms :D

Lol. We are running low on coffee today but we have survival packs in the cupboard. (The type of pack you take away with you which has enough coffee in for one person) Always come in handy when you unexpectedly run out of coffee.
A good excuse to spend more time at the church then eh Gary. What denomination is it?

It's a non-denominational church, Andy. Southeast Christian Church. The BBC did a documentary a few years ago on mega-churches in the U.S. and chose it as it's centerpiece for the show. The congregation numbers 18,000+ and is growing steadily by approximately 1600 a year. So, we are huge. My wife and I absolutely love it. Before joining here, I never used to mind going to church. NOW, I can't wait to go and worship! The preaching is excellent (as is the espresso!), the service in general is done in excellence. You can get a feel for it by visiting:

I believe I kept a copy of that documentary. If I find it, I'll email it to you.
