RAW Therapee

Hi, folks! I mentioned in an earlier thread that I'm now using RAW format. The PP program I'm now using is called, "RAW Therapee". If you are working with RAW files, you have GOT to try this one. It's available in two flavors: one for Windows and one for Linux. Best part? I T ' S F R E E !! If your camera is not capable of producing RAW files, it is still one heckuva PP tool! That's a brilliant Shot Gary, almost mirror image. Those birds sure like what you are feeding them.

I'm a bit intrigued by your post for the suet feeder.. Does it keep the racoons from stealing the suet? and the suet holder?.. not like the racoons have ever stolen bird feed, suet, suet feeders.. bird feeders... around here (but I'm not bitter :D )

Hi, Joyce! Raccoons are extremely smart. If they want something, they're most likely going to get it. I had some relatively expensive suet feeders that disappeared and I'm fairly sure that the raccoons or a BIG bird got 'em. Hence, the $1.50 cheapies. I get more ticked at the starlings manners than the raccoons thievery. :D

Hi Gary, Cracking shot of the Starlings. When you say u used the PP program Raw Therapee, is this Proud Photography software or S/w recommended by PP, maybe later on in the course.

BTW: I just downloaded rawtherapee and it wont work.

NOTE - It does not work for VISTA - - - - XP only.
