Hi! I'm new to the forum and am now taking the class. I've been taking photos for years but am not a pro by any stretch. Some of my pictures come out very well but that seems to be largely by accident. I really need to improve my picture-taking skills. Right now my main focus is on photographing window treatments. I have an Olympus E-510, a Canon PowerShot Pro1 and a point-and-shoot Panasonic Lumix. I look forward to learning about taking better pictures.

Welcome aboard, Welmoed! Nice selection of equipment. That's the name of the game here... learning. You'll find there's a nice group of folks here. All eager to learn and share. The course is, as you have probably discovered by now, REALLY a good one.

Have fun! :)

Thanks, Gary. I have a website for my business; it shows the type of picture I take. The ones currently on the site are, well, adequate, at best. My problem is that I need to be able to get good photos, quickly, after I install a window treatment. Clients aren't going to want to have me linger for an hour or two to adjust the lighting just so.
Here's the site:

(It's actually going to change in the next few days... my business name is changing in the next week or so).
