I came across a most unusual sight in late summer, a shrub covered in Butterflies. Got camera out with Tripod and tried a specific macro attempt.Thought I'd like to share this with forum members as we look forward to summer again.

Hi Gary , I'm on Lesson 2 and cannot move on till I get my new camera back from Factory. The shot of the butterfly was taken with my Fuji S9600. Also as you said " nice one Jon " hope his wife did not see the thread.

Very nice shot, great Depth of Field. Only critic if you dont mind and it is very minor, I think that more focus on the butterfly maybe, because if you look at the middle of the butterfly, it is not exactly in focus. But it is a very beautiful shot. Hope you dont mind my comment.

Thanks Andy for comments on Macro. I welcomed any comments ,hence the reason for showing my first real attempt at a Close up Nature Shot.

No problem Eddie, like I said it was only a minor thing but it is one of the best ways we learn by pointing things out to each other. Having said that, my opinion of what it should or shouldnt be may not be the same as other people.
