Just Started!

Hi all,

I've just begun the photography course and I must say i'm really enjoying it!

I wanted to get anyone's opinion with regards to a tripod and what I should be looking for? I'm on a budget and I don't want it to be too heavy.

I saw this one on another forum a few days back any opinions???

Welcome to the forum and good luck with the course! I am not familiar with the tripod included in your link, but it looks to be pretty good from what I could see. At 6 lbs, it doesn't appear to be too heavy and it can handle a maximum load of 11 lbs, which should be more than enough. You may want to see if there are any reviews on the internet that touch on how it performs in windy conditions. Good luck.

Thanks for the reply I went to Calumet yesterday and purchased the tripod. I have to say its not heavy at all and I like the quch releasing locks on the legs :) best of all I got 10% off ;)
