No... the photos say it all! Reeeaaaallly nice. I had a heckuva time with a low-flying helicopter a little while back. I can't imagine trying to keep up with those guys. I'll give it a shot at the air show this Spring here in Louisville, though. I'll ask 'em to fly slowly. http://i86.photobucket.com/albums/k119/gjtoth/pooter.gif

It was a lot harder then I thought it would be for sure. Helps when you can just hold down the shutter button and get four or five shots off in a row.
Great photos mate, those guys look awsome. I have seen a documentery on them a while ago, really enjoyed it. Do you have Any F-14 tomcat pics?

My camera is capable of that, fortunately (in a way). So, I'll be set for the Spring airshow. I'll just have to drill myself with the capabilies so I'll be able to do it by reflex.

Some great shots there.
It reminds me of our Red Arrows here in the UK. They fly sooooo close to each other it's unbelivable.

Sorry I don't have any F-14 pictures pretty much just what was at the show that day.
I think the real thrill would be being able to go up in the backseat with these guys and your camera and shot from that vantage point. Then again I probably wouldn't be able to see much other then the inside of that paper bag that would be at my mouth.

Indeed, Try focusing at that speed and keeping the camera steady whilst flying upside down!!!!

Your pictures are great - wish I had a opportunity to watch, but I'm sorry Komud, there isn't enough money in this world to get me up that high:eek:. I'd rather have my feet planted on the ground trying to take pictures.

Nice pictures.. but dont forget you use a filter on your lens to darken the sky up.. the color of the sky could be darker.

Fantastic photos! I live close to their home base and it's pretty amazing to watch them perform. And I agree with dkippen..not enough money in the world to get me up there..I get dizzy just watching them from the ground!
