Here's a retired firetruck for you to play with if you want. This was about the only clear view I had of it- you don't want to know all the junk on each side and behind me. This is the original out of the camera:

To start things off I messed with it some using PhotoTools 2.5 and several other things I can't remember.

SO, what can you come up with? Have fun!

And have fun I did... Thanks! :^)
This was the end process of putting it through a meat grinder of filters to see where it would end up as... Mostly Pixel Bender stuff... :^)

Thank You Geneo! As a final edit it's pretty busy, but my experimental runs tend to be that way.. :^)
I also clicked over to your gallery and love what I found! Wonderful diversity and nicely balanced compositions! I enjoyed traintrack1 and lakehefner2 as instant favorites! :^)

I like your version Andy! :^)
I gave this another painted pass, mostly using Pixel Bender for the painting effects... but then messed around a bunch-more
(blending modes, masks, filters) to see what else was do-able. I love these little adventures... there are so many avenues we can
run down when exploring all the variables available with computer based editing... so glad I no longer have to slug it out in a darkroom!! :^)

Looks good, complete with the house on fire!
For all of these I cropped the original, blew it up with Alien Skin's Blow Up (And what guy doesn't enjoy blowing stuff up), adjusted Levels for black blacks and white whites, and applied the filters/techniques in the names.

Interesting looks, but traditional me likes #1 and #4 the best.

I had fun with this. thanks!

Hey, are calling me old?
Oh.
Nevermind.
It's ok.
I am old! :D
Actually I was referring to myself, but you can have it if you want it. I don't really need it. :)

I like this version but it makes me laugh because the building is burning down in the back ground and the fire truck is just sitting there!

Heeeheee... it's one of the disturbing side-effects of government cut-backs... :^)
