New member from near Liverpool

Hello I just want to introduce myself from UK. I am an IT teacher as well as webmaster for our school website. I have taken photos for years, but never great. I want to learn the jargon, f stops, shutter speeds, depth of field, composition, lighting etc, and even more important master them. Then I will take decent pictures I hope. I am half way through lesson 2 so far and am enjoying it very much.

I'm afraid Mark I'm a RED VEE supporter. I am a mad St. Helens Rugby League supporter. Being as you live in Australia you will know all about this, and Saints last year were World Club Champions after beating Brisbane Broncos in the WCC final. I find football inferior to rugby league. I would be BLUE rather than red though! :)

Fair enough! I come from the part of Australia (before I moved to Sydney 2 months ago) where Rugby is'nt heard of!! And Aussie Rules Football is #1! So I follow Aussie rules in winter and Football (soccer) in Summer.

Anyway, enjoy the course! I know I am!

I am enjoying the course. It is great, I just wish our weather was better so I could get out more.
