I Joined the course so that I know what I am talking about and hope that one day I will take a good photograph.
I am only up to lesson 3, but already I have a problem with the facts.
Under ISO it refers to ASO(American Standards Organisation). However I remember buying film that had a rating of ASA and it was the American Standards Association.
My camera did not have ASA, it had DIN settings. I am sure I had to look on the film packet to find the DIN equivalent. From memory ASA100 film meant setting my camera to DIN20.
OK. so it was in the early 1960's and my memory might be a bit sloppy, but was there ever a ASO standard as per the lesson?
Confused
