The Course Members Area (CMA) is free for Proud Photography former and present students (PP Students). It's also open for supporting members (Subscribers) who subscribe to it for a fee. Other registered forum members will be charged their accumulated Credits to see the content of this section.
All PP Students automatically gain access to CMA and the ability to post in it. We've introduced a new currency system controlling how much a student can post in some parts of the CMA in particular where the input or photo critique from our tutors is sought. The system ensures that equal amount of attention is given to each student/subscriber requiring assistance from our tutors.
The main currency is called Credits.
Every PP Student starts with 1000 Credits (one-time). Every Subscriber starts with 300 Credits (one-time). Credits are being charged for creating new threads in sections marked in red as "PAID". The price (in Credits) to pay for each activity in any given paid section is clearly marked in a section description.
What happens when you run out of Credits?
- Students and Subscribed members will still be able to access the CMA, however they won't be able to post in paid sections
- Credits can simply be purchased at any time at a rate of 100 Credits = 1 USD (or 1 Credit = 1 Cent)
- You'll gradually earn free Credits for activities in entire PP forum; the more you're active, the more you earn (excluding paid sections). So it's worth reading, posting and inviting new members to the forum. Earned Credits can be used to gain access to the paid sections.
Who can use Credits?
- All registered forum members can use Credits either earned for forum activities or purchased for money.
How many Credits do I have?
- your Credit status is displayed in several places: inside your user profile, on each forum page Navigation Bar inside "Currency" link and under your avatar next to your posts. PP Students automatically earn 1,000 Credits (one time), CMA subscribers earn 300 Credits.
How can I earn more Credits?
- posting new thread: 1 Credit
- replying to someone else's thread: 0.5 Credit
- Birthday present (if specified in your CP) 30 Credits
- reading forum content
- enroll in any of our courses: 1,000 Credits
- subscribe to CMA from your CP: 300 Credits
- purchase for money; 100 Credits = $1

- For each infraction received you lose 20 Credits
- The virtual currency system also gives us an option to set up an e-shop where you could redeem your Credits for real products or services or even enroll in our courses in a future.
Because the system is quite complex, it will require some time to adjust values like Credits earned and spent for any particular activity, so your input is highly desirable.
