Here I go again! Out for an afternoon walk, I had my trusty point and shoot with me so I couldn't resist trying the calla lilly. One is a crop of the other. CC??

Really nice shot Marianne. Love the cropped shot - great detail in the stamen, and your composition is good.
Just wondering why the crop is brighter/whiter than the other. Did you not alter the brightness in the second?
Those "trusty" point & shoots are pretty good with macro!

Nice shot Marianne. Since I don't have a macro lens, I always use my P&S for doing macro too.

Thanks Kaye and Tenny! Yes, I did an auto fix in ps elements on the crop. It lightened it up, which I liked.
