I'm really glad that now I could discuss my pictures with my tutor before submitting it (could I?:D)
I've been collecting pictures for BW category, and I've been posted some too on the forum a while ago. I think I finally got the pictures, but still wondering if they are good enough or not and did I convert it properly?
I supposed I could ask for some opinion for the pictures and ask which picture is the best one? or may be I should try again?
Thank you so much:)

Hmm, well now, I don't know about this quizzing the teacher before handing in the assignment stuff! :) Actually, that's exactly what you should use this for, it's a perfect way to learn without having to redo assignments!

Of the two images, let me first say you chose a real good subject matter, and a very strongly contrasted image. The clouds in the background really help to set everything off. Good textures, and a good eye to detail.

The first shot is a good rule of thirds setup, with some strong lines and geometric shapes. I might have moved a little more to the left, though, to accentuate the natural diagonal lines of the building, and to emphasize the vanishing point perspective as the building goes off into the distance. That being said, I actually think the 2nd shot, though a little busier with the additional elements, is the stronger of the two. The reason I say this is because you've moved a little to the left, but you've also added a nice leading line with that parking cover and the road. I really like the additional emphasis in lines, and the strong contrast this applies by having the vertical/90 degree lines of the building set right next to the sweeping curves of the parking cover.

The only thing I would probably change on the 2nd shot is step to the right a bit, or get down a little lower so that the cover isn't poking right into the building. You want just a bit of space between the two, so that it keeps from being an obstruction, cause you're main subject is still the building. Great concept here, you'd get a good grade on the 2nd one if you turned it in! :)

Thank you so much for the feedback Greg. You don't know how much that means to me:)
I'm sorry if this makes more works for you:o
I've sent the wrong picture for the assignment that I thought was good, but it's not.
However, I found that redoing the assignment is a bit complicated than I thought. So, even though I didn't satisfied with the grade, I just left it as it was. With this section, as you said, nobody needs to redo assignments nor loose a grade anymore.
I'm really glad that PP has made this additional section, so the students have more access to the tutors. We couldn't be happier:)

As for the pictures, I will probably submit the pic #2. I like that too, even though I too don't like to see the cover poking right to the building. I should have gotten down a bit lower, while moving to the right was impossible due to the driveway on the right and the cars were approaching from the back. I took the pic#1 from the other pedestrian way across the driveway.
I was thinking of getting back there and redoing the shots. But if that's not possible, I'll just submit what I already have now. I actually have more of the pictures in different angles, but I don't think they are better than those two.

Again, thank you so much for your help Greg. I sure have learned a lot from you:):):)
