Sandra, he is beautiful! The DOF is fantastic and I love that he appears about to take off with that leg in position. Nice sharpness. Good work.

Very nice Sandra, one small nit is he could have space to the right to move into
Great shot though
Thanks for sharing

Sandra,
Great shot! I love the intensity in the bird's eye.
What a great capture and great timing Sandra to capture this pose. You can see that he is just about ready to take off.

thanks
Andy I agree I cropped out the log bird feeder and straighten the pic a bit
He had just left our swing and was heading to the feeder which is log with holes in it on an ugly metal pole but the birds like it
and it has allowed me to get some good ones of birds
Marianne I washoping to catch him in flight but did not get it But agree the raisedleg ddn' notice till uploaded
yes Kaye, but he put his foot down and waited a bit longer -
the fun with taking these kind of shots you never know what they will do
Sandy I di enjoy hisvery intense stare too LOL FOOD here I come!
Thanks again for looking each of you

nicely done. I would like a little more space around him, but that's a minor nit.

yep but you would not like to see the black bar of the swing or the fake log LOL
I usually do not try to take pics when the lan on that little ugly pink table that I bought at a bargain to paint black like the rest of my furniture and never did but could not resist his charm
since then have done a couple more guess will need to paint it and move it to a nicer location : )

Hey Sandra - You did great under your circumstances!
I have learned if you took your shot a certain way or cropped- to say why you did it that way in your original post --that seems helps others with their critique!
