Mark,

This is a striking and beautiful photo. Was this shot in a barn or outdoors? I just love this!

Mark,
Amazing focus, and what a wonderful subject you have to focus on.
I love that you can really appreciate the kindness in this eye and, for me, the bond we
have with these beautiful creatures. Beautiful photo.

Hi Mark I really like this one, particularly the lighting. I really like the angle of the shot emphasizing the eye and eyelash detail.

Hi Sandy, thank you very much for your kind words.
The horse is just such a wonderful animal and often offers good photo opportunities.
Thanks Sandy

Hi Shirley and thank you very much for your comments.
You also mentioned the light as has Marianne…if a shot is worth taking; it’s worth waiting for the light to play its part in that photo.
Thanks Shirley

Excellent! Very dramatic but at the same time peaceful. The balance of detail and bokeh is terrific. Kudos!

Hi Bambe and thank you very much for your comments…looking at your avatar I would imagine you must have a few shots covering the same subject.
Thanks Bambe

WOW....an absolutely stunning shot. The shallow DOF and lighting make this shot. And as you've said to me in the past, you dont have to take a photo of the whole subject to know what it is. You've done this to perfection, and once again produced a unique image. Keep inspiring us all, please. :)
