Thanks so much! Good to see so many that are involved in photography. Hopefully, you see some improvement since I last was here as I have been diligently learning and striving for improvement. My gear has changed RADICALLY, too. Although, I still like my bridge cameras :) , I do have a DSLR now and thinking of switching platforms from Olympus to Pentax.
Again Gary, these are such beautiful shots with immaculate sharpness and detail, composition and everything else!! I love them.
You photos are fantastic with your Olympus, so why do you want to change to Pentax? Is it an upgrade?

The rumors have it that Olympus will be dropping the 4/3s line. That's going to do one of two things to Olympus lenses, parts, & accessories: the bottom will drop out or they'll go sky-high. With my luck they'll sink. And, I don't want to get stuck with an orphan camera. I really like my E-620 a LOT. However, it's not going to last forever and I don't want to get stuck with stuff I can't sell. I've been fairly loyal to Oly for a number of years and I love their stuff, but I feel about to be abandoned by them with a goodly amount of money invested in lenses. Sometimes I wish I would have just stayed with bridge cameras! :) :D I'd go with Nikon or Canon but they don't have anything with in-body IS. Sony is the only other one that has it and they're stuck on goofy with their proprietary memory sticks. I'll tolerate proprietary to a point, like batteries. But, Oly had those stupid Xd cards and FINALLY saw the handwriting on the wall. Sony makes a fine camera. Just a little too proprietary for me. That leaves Pentax. I've seen great stuff as far as IQ goes, they are innovative, and tech support is good (not GREAT... good). Lenses may not be as good as Olympus but at least Pentax are loyal to their user base.

Just wanted to say all your photos are excellent. I have not been able to comment on each post but have admired your bird shots in particular.
