Hi all
How are we all doing?
Ok So I braved the cold weather and boy was it cold!! to try and get some light trails.
I kinda happy with them but I dont think they are great either so if you have the time or the interest wander over to

and have a look.
I as always would appreciate any comments at all.
Thanks all
John
PS : I have some shots that are not just light trails but a mix of in focus and light trails. You will know when you see them

They are pretty good, I would be impressed by them. What is it that you do not like?

John -
You do have some great shots - I like the ones where you have red and yellow. Granted, some are blurred, but I think with practice and patience, your pictures and skills will improve. Remember, you didn't walk the first day you tried. BTW - were you using a star filter for some of these?

Hi debbie
No I wasn't using a star filter.
All my pictures seem to have that effect, even peter commented on the starburst effect.
It's nice but no filter involved this time :)

Some nice shots there John, I'm hoping to go out Monday night and take some similar shots to those if it is not Raining.
Were you using a tripod for the moon shots and also the bus shelter shot as there seems to be some camera shake on those?

Hi
Yeah it started to get quite windy so there was prob a little camera shake alright.
I was using a tripod for the moon shots.Difficult to focus though.

You can get that effect by using a fully closed aperture, and it increases shooting times which is desireable in light trail pics.
