WOW Andy, these are super stunning!! But No. 1 just blew me away!
What superb detail and beautiful composition in the first. I also love the shadow. What I think I love most about this shot is the sort of minimalistic style with the nicely blurred background making the subject really pop.
Brilliant shot.
Nos. 2 & 3 are also beautiful shots and well composed. I think I prefer 2 for its sharpness, but like the pose of the bird in 3.

Great shots Andy. I like #2 for good composition and sharpness. I do like the hunched position in #1, he looks about to spring on a fish.

These are beautiful Andy. Very well done. Here in the states these are called Great Blue Herons, even though they look more gray at times.

Thanks all for looking and your kind comments, I am trying to get this years fledglings, but so far to no avail.

#1 had a little bit of extra pp to get to the final image, the other 2 are minimal pp.
