Flower stem kakamo(moari) of ToeToe(maori) cortadera One of NZ largest native grasses.
Commonly know to European kids as Cutty Grass as the leaves can leave a nasty cut if you are not careful.

Very nice Delboy. When enlarged, the sharpness is great. I think we may have this "grass" here also? Do you know?
I like your composition, but would like to see it even slightly more off centre. I think an angled composition may work well with this also. Just a thought.

Ditto. Off-center or angled diagonally. Great colors and detail. Well-done.

I like this against the blue sky, can almost feel the breeze blowing through it. I know it as Pampas grass.

Hi Shirley Thanks for that. This is not Pampas grass, We also have that in NZ and it is a noxous weed, and it is not nice looking as our native grass.

Hi Delboy and that’s a nice shot. I like seeing things isolated against the sky like that.
I like the exposure and the cloud formation.
