Snail

Found this one from last year - hope you like it :D
Taken with a 70-200 lens with extension tubes.

I placed the snail on a big rock to be able to take the shots of him, but kept having to pull him back again, he kept moving off, the cheek of it! They do say never work with animals or children :D

What fantastic detail, colour and DOF Jon. All great, but I think No. 1 is the most impressive.
Haven't you learned how to talk to the animals :D You're lucky he didn't retract back into his shell!
