Andy, I thought I replied to this a few days ago, but I guess not. That first shot is FABULOUS!! You should submit it to NG or some other nature magazine. Truly beautiful shot! #3 is my second favorite, but #1 is spectacular too! Great captures!

I like those photos Andy #1&2 best

#1 for the clarity of the bird
#2 as it shows the bird in its environment, it has a lot of vibrance and movement with the water in the background.

I did reply to this before on 1.5.11, so will copy what I said, as I am not sure what is happening here.

WOW Andy, these are super stunning!! But No. 1 just blew me away!
What superb detail and beautiful composition in the first. I also love the shadow. What I think I love most about this shot is the sort of minimalistic style with the nicely blurred background making the subject really pop.
Brilliant shot.
Nos. 2 & 3 are also beautiful shots and well composed. I think I prefer 2 for its sharpness, but like the pose of the bird in 3.
