I hardly find wild birds to capture. When I visited a zoo in my hometown, Bandung, I thought I couldn't capture any bird, because they're all in the cages. Turned out, my camera could pass through those wire cages:) well, they're not that sharp though.

Hi Tenny,

I thought that you would have had lots of bird life flying around up there in the tropics.
I like your series here. I really love No. 1 - like the perspective and nice focus on the eyes. No. 4 is my next favourite.

I also really like No. 5. I think it is a shot which we all have to do, knowing that there will be a nice shallow DOF behind the wire where the peacock is hiding.

Tenny,

I think the first and last are powerful shots. The angle and focus on the eyes in the first, and the focus on the wire fence, the fine details of feathers on the wire, the blurred image of the bird behind in the last both make me wonder what it is we humans are taking from these beautiful creatures.

I'm really sorry Kaye and Sandy, I'm not sure why I missed to reply your posts. I thought I did. And this post was like almost a year ago. I haven't been in the forum for a while, and I was checking my posts on my profile and realized that there are so many comments that I should have replied them, but I didn't. Oh my. I hope it's not too late to apologize to you both. Thanks so much for commenting.

No worries, Tenny. Time flies... maybe you have some more to show us. Hope all is well with you and your 'working life', and that you are enjoying it still.
